Lettering Tattoos on the Costa del Sol
Phrases, names and words in carefully chosen typography, designed to stay legible for years.
Lettering looks simple but it is one of the styles that needs the most care: the typeface, the size and the body area determine whether the phrase will still read well in ten years. I work with both cursive calligraphy and print lettering, and I will advise you on the minimum size based on the message you want to carry.

What I Get Asked for Most in Lettering
- Short phrases and names
- Important dates
- Fine cursive script and bold print lettering
- Text combined with a small symbol
Lettering FAQs
Can you translate my phrase into another language?
I can tattoo the phrase in whichever language you want, but the exact translation is your responsibility, I recommend confirming it with a native speaker before the appointment.
What is the minimum size a phrase needs so it does not blur over time?
It depends on the typeface. The finer and more cursive it is, the more space each letter needs; at the consultation I will tell you the recommended minimum size so it stays legible.
Can I choose the typeface or do you choose it?
I will show you several typeface options and we will work out together which fits your phrase and body area best.
Does lettering on ribs or curved areas turn out well?
Yes, but the design needs to be adjusted to the curve of the body so the phrase reads straight when the skin is at rest.
Got a phrase in mind?
